Born and raised in Southern California, Katelyn Riechers has found it difficult to venture too far from the beach and perfect weather. She graduated with a bachelor’s degree in science from USC with an interest in the medical field and worked at a biotech company in La Jolla. The Lord brought Katelyn and her husband Cody together in 2009 and the babies soon followed. While at home in Encinitas caring for their 4 children, Katelyn remained a student at heart, really adopting the holistic lifestyle in life, health and education. She has been homeschooling her 4 children in some capacity since 2017 and teaches in the 4th/5th grade class at the Mission church in Carlsbad. As parents, Cody and Katelyn are committed to raising their children to love and know God, seek and uphold His truth and be salt and light in the community. Between carpools, sports weekends, and hundreds of emails to keep up with, Katelyn finds time to enjoy hot sunny days, working out, and eating amazing food with her family.
